The current generation of vehicles are operated with custom logic that is housed and activated in Electronic Control Units (ECUs). As the number of ECUs increased, along with their capabilities, the legacy design of the vehicle summary page fell short of its purpose.

A series of updates, instituted over the course of several sprints, modified the layout and organization of the vehicle summary page. These changes reduced the users cognitive load by first serving them the content they can interact with. That content is almost always on a Quickfit Programable Module, for this reason they were moved to the top of the page. Content that the users are not able to interact with was moved to the lower portion of the page.
