Though corporate brand identity guidelines have been established for web and print applications they have not been migrated across to the oscilloscopes Tektronix produces. Currently each product has a different on–screen look and feel with little reference to the parent brand. In this redesign a color scheme had to be developed, based on corporate guidelines as well on-screen readability, and then applied to each product individually. An application toolkit including everything from simple buttons to complex information listing systems was developed to simplify the transition from the current displays to the proposed unified brand guidelines.
