Created for signal analysis over a decade ago, the application known as Signal Vu-PC needed to be updated to reflect current application standards and the corporate prerequisite look & feel. This included not only a new color scheme but updating the icon styles and some layout functions to be easier to use on mobile devices.
Higher fidelity mockups were created to show how vertically enlarging the quick access (top control) bar to accept touchable icons. These icons replicated the look and feel of the user interface used in the flagship application for oscilloscopes. The same sizing and button/icon treatment was also replicated in the collapsable control bars on the lower portion of the interface to increase readability and touchability.
